09 DC Boot Allegiance
The Allegiance: DC's boot for the all mountain rider is back. This time around it's more supportive for all mountain riding thanks to a combination of a lateral support beam and an external skeleton in the back area of the boot. No folding, no breaking, no buckling.
The Allegiance features the Boa Focus System. This is a unique technology with two zones for tightening, evenly distributing pressure on both the lower and upper of the boot, not just the upper as in typical boot construction. This creates the ultimate customized fit. The Allegiance also has DC's Injection EVA Midsole. It's appromixately 40% lighter than other outsoles. We've taken cues from our skateboard shoe line by incorporating DGT (Dynamic Grip Technology) and CTR (Cold Temperature Rubber) in the most significant areas of the sole, creating a podular design that allows for better grip and durability. We've included a Lateral Support Beam to ensure optimum flex and support, and an Articulated Upper Cuff for effortless and instant boot break-in. The Allegiance also has DC's 3-D Tongue for comfort, Internal Ankle Brace for support, and the Recco Avalanche Rescue System.

- Boa Technology's Focus System allows the rider to adjust the upper and lower zones of the boots to ensure secure fit of the entire foot. Three zones of the foot are secured with the focus system, allowing the rider to increase of decrease pressure in each of these areas, depending on the rider's board riding preferences.
